A Private Evening With Alan Shearer
The Paul James Band recently performed at an exclusive event for Alan Shearer to raise money for his care home in West Denton, Newcastle; www.alansheaercentre.org.uk The event, held in the Magpie Suite at St James' Park, raised over £10,000 for disabled children using the centre.

Jazz Supper at Jesmond Dene House
Fronted by our vocalist Laura Adams the band will be performing a selection of Jazz and Swing favourites made famous by artistes such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble.
"Relax. Take it easy ..... Cool sounds, Heart-warming food. The Great Hall is transformed into a little jazz club. Wind down from the week and tee up for the weekend over a relaxed and tasty supper."

Wynyard Hall Dinner Dance
The evening will begin with a reception drink, four course dinner and then dance the night away to the sounds of The Paul James Band. A lovely start to the Easter Weekend.

Christmas at Dissington Hall
The band is delighted to be a part of the festive celebrations at Dissington Hall once again this year!
On Friday 20th November 09 the band will be performing at the fabulous 'Winter Ball' - where guests will enjoy a Frosted Kir Royale Reception and delicious three course meal in the sumptuous setting of this magnificent Georgian Mansion.
On Sunday 13th December 09 our trio will be performing at the hall's Christmas Lunch.

The Sunshine Fund "Sunflower Ball"
The Paul James Band are to perform once again for The Sunshine Fund 'Sunflower Ball' held at The Gosforth Park Marriott Hotel on Friday 9th October 2009. The Band have performed regularly at this prestigious event for several years which raises thousands of pounds for disadvantaged children in the North East. St Cuthbert's Care
A big thank you to the staff and patrons of St Cuthbert's Care who welcomed us back for our 6th year of performing at their prestigious Corporate Ball at the Gateshaed Hilton Hotel. It was a pleasure to perform once again to over 400 guests at the sell-out event which is held each February. The high point of the evening was a presentation to Sir Bobby Robson from Alan Shearer for his support and commitment to the charity.

Geordie Latinos
Members of The Paul James Band continue to perform with the highly acclaimed Salsa band - 'Geordie Latinos'. The BBC1 documentary 'Inside Out' recently featured both bands including live performances and interviews. Founder member Nobby Solano continues to appear with the band when his football commitments allow him time to jet-in from London or Peru:
